Februar 2005, lebt in Quito, in der N\u00e4he des Guayasamin Tunnels. Als das M\u00e4dchen 3 Jahre alt war, ging es mit seiner Mutter spazieren und wurde angefahren.<\/div>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Aufgrund des Unfalls musste ihr rechtes Bein amputiert werden. Danach bekam sie mehrfach Prothesen: eine mit der Hilfe des Roten Kreuzes, eine weitere bekam sie durch eine amerikanische Mission und die letzte von CONADIS, dem staatlichen Prothesenprogram. Diese passt ihr nicht mehr, und sie ben\u00f6tigt eine neue. Zun\u00e4chst muss ihr Knochen gefeilt werden, was im Baca Ortiz durchgef\u00fchrt wird. Au\u00dferdem braucht sie eine Therapie, um den Stumpf in Form zu bekommen.
