Vor einigen Jahren wurde Maybelin ein Knochentumor diagnostiziert. Leider reichte die Chemo- und Strahlenterapie nicht aus und Maybelin musste im Januar 2017 das Bein abgenommen werden. Seitdem hat sie durch Physiotherapie ihr anderes Bein gest\u00e4rkt und ist nun bereit f\u00fcr eine Prothese.<br \/>\nAm Sch\u00fctzlingstreffen im M\u00e4rz 2018 bedankte sie sich bei ihrer Mutter, die so viel Kraft f\u00fcr sie aufgewendet habe und immer an ihrer Seite stehe. Im Mai 2018 konnten wir den Beitrag f\u00fcr Maybelins Prothese \u00fcberweisen. Dies ist durch unsere langj\u00e4hrigen Unterst\u00fctzer, aber auch durch die Leser\/Innen der Bild der Frau m\u00f6glich geworden, die \u00fcber einen entsprechenden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bildderfrau.de\/familie-leben\/article214052103\/Sprung-ins-Leben-Prothesen-helfen.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bericht<\/a> von Claudia Kirschner und Ulrike Schacht auf uns aufmerksam geworden sind.
